AHA First Aid Training in Dubai

First aid is the immediate help and assistance given to a person suffering from sudden illness or injury. The practice attempts to keep victims in a stable situation until medical care can be administered by professionals.

There are several situations in which being trained in First Aid is vital and can even save lives which is why it is always a good idea to receive First Aid Training and authorities made certified first aid personnel mandatory in every company in the emirate.

When a situation arises where a person is unconscious and not breathing due to a stroke, breathing problems, electrocution, drowning, inhaling too much smoke, or unknown reasons it is the time to employ the use of rescue breathing and chest compression. These are methods learnt in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). When in such situations, each and every second counts and is critical. Every moment must be spent trying to stabilize the affected individual and to contact professional medical assistance.

The American Heart Association (AHA) developed a thorough and extensive training program. The program is taught around the world to help prepare and train individuals for an eventuality where first aid would be required. AHA First Aid training in Dubai allows you to be able to effectively administer first aid when and where it is needed and comes in two courses which will be broken down here.

The Heartsaver First Aid course

This course teaches the best practices to follow in emergency situations where professional medical assistance is not readily available or on its way. It will train its students to sustain a victim of illness and/or injury until professional help arrives. This course teaches its students how to effectively deal with the following situations:

  • How to reduce or stop bleeding
  • How to treat sprains
  • How to immobilize and secure broken bones
  • How to manage a shock victim

These along with several other first aid techniques are taught at AHA first aid training in Dubai. The courses are open to anybody and isn’t age restrictive. An emergency requires immediate and trained attention and such courses offer just that.

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

The second course taught in AHA first aid training in Dubai teaches its students how to asses and react to critical situations such as choking and sudden cardiac arrest. It trains students in the execution of CPR and how to use an AED. The course empowers its students to be able to help keep a person suffering from such problems, alive until professional help arrives. It too is available to every age group.

AHA first aid training in Dubai such as these two Heartsaver courses are available to those of who wish to be prepared at all times. GMCClinics, a trusted, highly trained and facilitated medical centre, has three intensive courses, one of each and one that combines the classes from both courses into a single all-encompassing course. The knowledge of which could someday help save a life or lives.
