    Retainers in Dubai

Orthodontic retainers are custom-made devices, usually made of wires or clear plastic, that hold teeth in position after surgery or any method of realigning teeth. They are most often used before or after dental braces to keep teeth in position while assisting the adjustment of the surrounding gums to changes in the bone. Most patients are required to wear their retainer(s) every night at first, with many also being directed to wear them during the day – at least initially.

    Case Study

    General Dentistry

Here we have a patient that is unsatisfied with her smile. Although she is in her fifties and isn’t suffering from any pain but she wants to achieve a more youthful smile. She has a gummy smile that means she showed the gums while smiling hence the asymmetry on gum line is visible. In order to achieve aesthetically acceptable smile the right and left side of gums and teeth must be at the same level , also we are able to correct the cross bite on the left side with the help of ceramic crowns . The correct bite is when the upper teeth come over the lower teeth And not the other way around as is in this case on the left side. We also choose a whiter color for a more natural look.

In this case we replaced the old crowns and bridges and added posterior crowns. Patient is very happy with her new smile.
