Paediatric Dentistry in Dubai

It is important that children have a great introduction to dental treatment and feel comfortable from their very first visit. We aim to make each dental visit a positive experience for you and your child.

Dr Lana Al Habash, our paediatric dentist is specialized in providing the comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care needs of children (infants through teenagers), including those with special needs (chronically ill, disabled or mentally challenged).

Dental treatments provided by our Paediatric Dentists include:

Regular oral health exams (including caries risk assessment for infant and mother)

Preventive dental care (such as brushing and diet/nutrition recommendations)

Provide or recommend special preventive care to safeguard against problems, such as teething and gum disease

Offer habit counselling (e.g., thumb sucking, pacifier use)

Offer assessment and treatment for teeth straightening and improper bite in the young child (orthodontics)

Regular cleaning and fluoride treatments; and use of sealants to prevent cavities

Fillings and Extractions

Diagnose and treat dental developmental difficulties (e.g., root canals on adult teeth that have not fully formed)

Emergency visits: Trauma & Accidents (Fractured teeth, knocked out teeth, and other Paediatric Dental accidents.)

Case Study

General Dentistry

Here we have a patient that is unsatisfied with her smile. Although she is in her fifties and isn’t suffering from any pain but she wants to achieve a more youthful smile. She has a gummy smile that means she showed the gums while smiling hence the asymmetry on gum line is visible. In order to achieve aesthetically acceptable smile the right and left side of gums and teeth must be at the same level , also we are able to correct the cross bite on the left side with the help of ceramic crowns . The correct bite is when the upper teeth come over the lower teeth And not the other way around as is in this case on the left side. We also choose a whiter color for a more natural look.

In this case we replaced the old crowns and bridges and added posterior crowns. Patient is very happy with her new smile.

Excellent visit. As this was Cara’s first dental visit, it was important to us that she was comfortable. Dr. Lana made her at ease and managed to get the full consultation and checks done without difficulty. I appreciate the efforts made by Dr. Lana and her dental assistant to ensure my daughter was as comfortable as possible.
