Dr. Safia Anwar Mohammed is the Group Chief Executive Officer of GMC Healthcare LLC (GMCClinics Group). Prior to being named CEO in May 2015, Dr. Safia served many senior positions with the General Civil Aviation Authority Dubai Health Authority and the Canadian Hospital in Dubai. Dr. Safia has been awarded “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Excellence Award” for Distinguished Government Employee for the year 2013/2014. Dr. Safia holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate and is a Member of Royal College of Physician London, MBBS; MRCGP. She was the Ambassador of Business Relationship for the Canadian Hospital and a member of the Governance Committee in the same hospital. Dr. Safia brings to GMCClinics 20 years of experience within the healthcare sector in the UAE.
